Like we do with our Final Cut Fridays, BOSFCPUG will hold our Canon Video/DSLR Filmmaker Meetups on a regular basis, aimed at today's digital filmmakers who want to connect with each other to collaborate on new projects and want to informally learn more about HD workflow using Canon's latest video and DSLR cameras.

For our first time out, Barbara Ellison will show off the new Canon XF305 Professional Tapeless Camcorder which features 50Mbps MPEG-2 4:2:2 recording to Compact Flash (CF) cards with an MXF File Wrapper.
 
We'll have the XF305 to play with, as well as Canon's latest DSLR cameras with some of the most popular lenses for DSLR filmmaking. This will be an informal gathering first time out!

This first Meetup will be a very informal and casual Meetup with no formal presentations - This first Meetup is all about introducing each other and interacting!

We will ALSO be announcing more details about our Autumn BOSFCPUG Philip Bloom DSLR Workshops!

Hear details on our BOSFCPUG Meetup at Entertainment Technology Expo, hosted by Creatasphere on September 21-22 in NYC!
